It's that time of the year, the dreaded fruit flies have made their return. And let's all just be real here, not a sole on earth enjoys these pesky creatures invading our kitchens and bathrooms.
Here are some of the best remedies we've found to tame these critters:
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Grab a bowl (or 10), place 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar in the bottom, 2 drops of Dawn dish soap, cover with plastic wrap, pop a few holes in the top, and wait for the magic to happen.
2. Red Wine
I know what you're thinking, "I'd rather drink it than use it to kill fruit flies", but if you're in a bind and can't make it to the store: Fill bowl 1/4 cup (pour yourself a full glass), place plastic wrap over the top, pop a few holes, and watch em' all come flying into your trap.
3. Sugar and Water
Alright, so maybe you don't have and apple cider vinegar handy, and refuse to share the wine (of which I can't blame you! No judgement here), just dissolve some sugar in water, place in glass bowl, cover with plastic wrap, pop those holes, and wait.
